Finished look
One commenter said she made them in the 60s out of kleenex for her wedding!
Up close and personal
Get the How-To on zakka life. It's easy and the finished product is just stunning! You could make these for the wedding getaway car, for a bridal or baby shower, or attach to floral stems and keep them in a vase year-round. Happy crafting!
Would love to see this in a hydranga!
ReplyDeleteI purchased a Martha Stewart, step-by-step tissue flower making kit from Walmart for doing this exact same thing...only thing is that they're for large-scale flowers - 1 foot diameter. You can hang these babies from the ceiling in varying heights or use them in gigantic bouquets.
ReplyDeleteInstead of small pieces of tissue paper, use full-sized sheets and follow the same folding and cutting process as you would for the mini flowers.
For a different effect, change the shape of the flower tips - instead of rounded tips, cut pointed tips.
